At the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar you will find an atmosphere of collaboration between artists, designers, engineers and media studies scholars. Our students benefit from the close student-teacher ratio and an atmosphere that allows for you to develop and experiment with your own ideas.

You will find the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar right in the middle of Germany, in the Federal State of Thuringia. Today Weimar is a lively city of about 65,000 inhabitants with a city centre that is no more than 10 minutes away from most things by foot. Whether you’re an art and culture lover, night owl or gourmet, Weimar offers much more than Goethe, Schiller and the Bauhaus.
