Instrumental in transforming a struggling parish to health and vitality, fostering a diverse and vibrant parish life, substantially growing membership, improving stewardship, recovering financial health, and introducing a comprehensive and formative worship, educational, and fellowship program. Planned, fully funded, and executed a multi-faceted building and marketing campaign, including the construction of the church’s first permanent nave and chancel. Serve on various diocesan commissions including international missions and racial reconciliation.

• Episcopal High School, Baton Rouge, LA (Current since 2011)

Faculty member, Department of Religion Teach two sections of History of Religion in America and on in Bible each semester, developing curriculum for these courses. Consistently enjoy superior evaluations from students for content and presence. Provide pastoral and counseling ministry to students and faculty.

• Saint Mary’s, Dousman, WI (August, 2008 – June, 2011) Assistant to rector

Provided pastoral and liturgical support; created and led adult, youth, and children’s education and programs; and regularly preached. Worked closely with rector, vestry, and parish on construction of a new sanctuary building, led the interior design component for the project.

• Cathedral of Saint Philip, Atlanta, GA (January, 2003 – August, 2008) Lay leader in corporate-sized parish

Served as a senior verger, planning liturgies and working with lay and ordained ministers in the execution of a broad array of services. Created and led children’s and adult formation courses, acted as chair for poverty ministries, worked as member and officer of the cathedral’s Outreach Grants Committee, led men’s spiritual direction groups, served as EfM mentor, and frequently taught in Cathedral Bookstore salons.

Technology and IT professional and executive Held various positions of increasing expertise and responsibility serving firms of various sizes and industries ranging from a Fortune 50 engineering firm to a regional financial institution. Career culminated in position of Vice President of Information Resources for Atlanta-based Powerco Federal Credit Union, the primary financial collective for the employees of the Southern Company family of electrical utility providers with offices across the southeast.

• Extensive experience in adult formation and Bible study in a variety of settings
