FOR the fourth timein its past five gamesLeitchville-Gunbow-er won by a triple-fig-
ure margin on Saturday this time against Heathcote in another one-sided round
in the Heathcote DistrictFootball-Netball League.
In their first game for 21days, the Bombers cruisedto a 27.18 (180) to 7.8 (50)win over the Saints at PigeonPark, with the 130-pointmargin following victoriesby 107 points (v LBU), 108points (v White Hills) and122 points (v Mount Pleas-ant) as part of a five-gamewinning streak.
Tere was always a bit ofa risk being the first game for21 days that the boys couldbe flat, but they were reallygood, Bombers coach Matt
Hawken said.immy Lincoln was su-
perb in kicking six off a wing,we were able to dominatethe ruck through Cam Rossand Lee Pollock and ourmidfield of om German,Bart Walsh, Daniel Couwen-berg and Jackson McEwangave us a lot of supply.
And our backlinewas really good RyanPrendergast backed up hisinter-league game from lastweek and Steve Pretty isgetting back to his best, soit was a really good perfor-
mance across the ground.Im really pleased withwhat were putting out atthe moment and we didntrelent all day.
Te Bombers led by 21points at quarter-time, 62at half-time and 93 at threequarter-time, before thefinal margin of 130 theeighth of 32 games in theHDFNL this season decidedby triple figures.
As well as Lincoln bootingsix goals, the Bombers alsohad dynamic forward MattPerri bag six and ruckman/forward Cameron Ross slot

Among the team for theBombers was Brady Hore, who made his senior debut.
Te defeat was the fourthin a row for Heathcote, withthe past two having beenby triple figures, having lostby 107 points to Huntly the
previous round.Leitchville is a very
strong side and is going tobe figuring very late in theseason, Heathcote coachPaul Kennedy said.
I thought our boys triedreally hard, but were just
under-manned at the mo-ment. Were missing five ofour key players and we cantcover them, so that hurts.
We were a bit un-der-sized today and Leitch-ville was able to take fulladvantage of it.
For the fourth time intheir eight games this seasonmidfielder Jake Condonwas named the best forthe Saints.
Liam Jacques (two goals)and Marc Millard alsobattled hard for the Saints, while Rikki Stephens kickedfour of their seven goals.
North Bendigo stavedoff a gallant challenge fromMount Pleasant to record a29-point victory at SuperiorRoofing Oval.
A major boilover lookedpossible when the Bluestrailed by just four pointsat the 20-minute mark ofthe final quarter, but the
Bulldogs had the answers, kicking the last four goals towin 17.9 (111) to 12.10 (82) their 15th-straight win overMount Pleasant.
We muffed a couple ofchances, but overall, theboys did really well againstwhats a good team, Bluescoach Derrick Filo said.
It was a good effortI couldnt have asked formuch more from them.
Teres a lot of young fel-las in the side, so with wherewere at with a young list, tohave our chances in the l astquarter was a good effort.
Te standout playeron the ground was NorthBendigo midfielder ysonFindlay, who kicked six goalsin a top game.
Ryan Alford and BlayneRyan-Storey were alsoprominent for the reign-ing premiers.
Nicholas Grigg was strong
up forward for the Blues inbagging seven goals, young-ster John Harvey continuesto impress, while JeremyBlencowe held Norths BradyHerdman to three goalsand Riley Tiesz kept SamBarnes to two.
Colbinabbin won itssixth game in a row, and indoing so handed anotherheavy loss to White Hills.
Te Grasshoppers beatthe Demons for the ninth-straight time, 16.9 (105) to2.6 (18), in slippery condi-tions at M.J. Morgan Oval.
I thought we adapted re-
ally well to the heavy groundand heavy ball, Colbinabbincoach Nick Knight said.
For four quarters ourcontested footy and pressurewas really good.
Midfielders Cameron Hall(three goals) and RussellDouglas (two goals) bothrevelled in the conditions,
while om Hill (two goals)continues to make the mostof his new lease on the wing.
White Hills two goalswere both kicked by JakeWard one in the first quar-ter and one in the third.
Matt yrell, the returningHayden Wright and LiamIreland were the best for theDemons, who have kickedjust three goals in their pasttwo games.
Huntly gave Elmore an84-point hiding, winning18.25 (133) to 7.7 (49) in aresult that moved the Hawksback to the top of the ladder.
Te Hawks wasted notime in blowing the Bloodsaway, already leading by62 points at half-time thefourth time in their sevengames this year they havebeen at least 50 points up atthe main break.
We treated this as a realdanger game on Elmores
home ground, but its prob-ably the best weve played interms of our accountabilityand the boys were reallyswitched on, Hawks coachJamie Hogan said.
We knew Elmore wouldbe coming for us, but a bigfocus was to make sure westarted well, which we wereable to do and were fairlysolid all day after that.
Braidy Dickens, JacobGreenwood (five goals)and Harry Whitte (threegoals) all backed up frominter-league the previousweek with strong games for
the Hawks, while Steve Kairnheld Elmore dangermanDanny Brewster (threegoals) in check for most ofthe match.
