Bassem Nohra has joined the Internal Audit team of Bank of Beirut in 1999 and is leading the Internal Audit Division of Bank of Beirut Group since 2008. Mr. Nohra is a member of several associations, as he is an ex-board member and secretary of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Lebanon Chapter, a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Associa-tion (ISACA), an ex-Chairperson of the Audit Committee of Lebanon chap-ter, a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).Mr. Nohra holds an MBA in Financial Management from University of Bor-deaux IV (France). He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), a Certified Infor-mation Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Certi-fied Quality Management Systems Internal Auditor (IRCA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Certified in Risk Man-agement Assurance (CRMA).
