In Chinese, a measure word is normally used between a number and a substantive. The measure word “ 个” (gè) is most used.

Before a measure word, 两 (two) is used in stead of 二 (two). But it happens only for the

èr èr èr shí èr yī bǎi líng èrnumber 二 itself ， not for the numbers which end with 二， e.g 二 十 二，一 百 零 二， etc.
