Presentation Notes
Saudi Aramco venturing objective is To Invest in global start-up companies of strategic importance to Saudi Aramco to accelerate the deployment of the digital transformation program. So how do we do venturing for technologies at Saudi Aramco and how do we help digital transformation? The process starts by identifying opportunities in the digital transformation space, we quickly conduct a screening along with the business unit, if there is an interest we move forward for a more thorough evaluation for both technical and commercial aspects. Once the startup clears and we agree on initial terms we move forward with the investment where Saudi Aramco energy ventures submits a term sheet to the startup. Once the term sheet is accepted, we make the investment. The process of transformation starts after the investment, specifically once we close the investment and the business unit at Saudi Aramco starts piloting the technology with an objective to test then deploy. Once a technology deploys successfully, we target to scale it up across many businesses at Aramco. This process is executed jointly with the operations, it spans over few weeks to few months. <click>
