Basic Formatting
1. There are two groups of text formatting tools on the Ribbon: the Font group and
the Paragraph group.
2. Fonts are sets of characters, numbers, and symbols in a specific style or design.
3. 2 fonts: For headings and for the body.
4. AutoFit change the text automatically so that it fits in the placeholder box.
5. Texts in powerpoint can be boldfaced or italicized(font styles) or formatted with strikethrough or shadow(effects).

selection of colors that can be applied to the fonts. Theme colors make tghe colors in you silde fit together
7. Format Painter is a tool that copies formatting from one block
of text to another.
8. Format painter makes it easy to apply the same formatting to
multiple blocks of text.-
9. Indentation controls the horizontal spacing of a paragraph.

19. You can apply wordart styles to any text in a slide.

fill and shape outline set formatting for the textbox.
21. You can fill text boxes with gradients, patterns, textures
and pictures.
22. Texture fill repeats small graphic to fill the area.

textured material.
