Multiplying 23 x 3 Draw 3 sets each with 2 fries and 3 tots French Fries There are 2, 4, 6 fries That's 6 tens or... 60 Tater Tots There are 3, 6, 9 tater tots That's 9 ones or... 9 Add it up So we have 6 tens and 9 ones AKA AKA 69 So 23 x 3 = 69 But wait!! What if you have to regroup? Chill... Let's try 125 x 5 Carbo- loading That's one waffle, Two fries, & 5 tater tots Written 5 times Waffles So that's 5 waffles...
