Adult Sunday School

Believers’ Sunday School While children learn about Jesus and have fun, the classroom

two doors down is the spot for our newest adult Sunday

school. Each Sunday, about 14 gather to study what it means

to be a Christian. All but three participants are brand new to

Sunday school attendance. The creation of this class, along

with the children’s program, has meant that Bacom has in-

creased Sunday school participation to at lest one third of its

members in Sunday school. This is an excellent ratio for a

church.

The Believers’ class is taught rotationally by Karen Hartt and

Pastor Allison and is geared for those who are new to the

habit of attending adult Sunday School

From November 29th—December 6th, the class will cover the

meaning of Advent and the story of the Christ Child.

On December 13th Believers’ will begin an exciting series

called ‘6 Things We Should Know About God,’ by Tom

Berlin. Come and see what it’s about!

The Friendly Sunday School Class This class continues under the excellent teaching of Linda

Medlock and Ruth Livingston. The class meets in the fellow-

ship hall next to the kitchen. They are delving into the deep

theology and lessons in the NT book of Hebrews.

Children’s Sunday School... continues to grow and

develop. We now

have 14 members

who have been

‘background checked’

and are able to work

with our youth.

Additionally, the chil-

dren are primarily

meeting in there own

designated class. Just

bring your child to the

second door in the

row of outside class-

rooms. (You’ll see the

wonderful new doors

that allow full-length

visibility into the class-

room and helps the

room be more cheer-

ful as well). The kids

have an outdoor,

fenced-in space to ac-

cess directly in order

to play.
