Mr. Medlicott has been on the faculty of the Jack Benny Center teaching cello, violin, viola, and string bass since 1996.
Bart received his Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Ball State University and is currently in his studies for a Masters degree in Music from Vandercook. Mr. Medlicott has taught music in public schools for 33 years at all levels K-12. He is currently teaching 6-12 Orchestra in the Waukegan Public Schools.
Mr. Medlicott teaches Beginners: Suzuki Method and related materials; Intermediate to Advanced: Solo literature and technique books. He teaches String Bass, Cello, Viola and Violin.
Ages: Teaches students 4 years through adult. Students at four years of age will need to take an evaluation lesson for the faculty member to evaluate readiness for lessons.
Books: Essential Elements Book 1, Advance Technique, Suzuki for Beginners
Teaching Philosophy: Mr. Medlicott believes –Success in life through musical performance.
