Preparing the Outdoor Arena for the Next Show! We are working diligently to get the outdoor arena in top shape for our show coming up
August 20th! This will also give the boarders more room to work on their tests in a stand-
ard (60x40 Meter) arena. This allows CWEC to start hosting classes in 1st Level and up!
Disking, leveling, spraying (a sterilizer to kill all growth), Topped off with a base layer of 2”
of Lime. This is just the beginning stages—but a start has begun!! A VERY ** Special

enced riders!!

her Equestrian of the Month:

A self-starter. Knows what to do and gets it done!
Proactive with Tasks. See what needs to be done—even
the unpleasant things, and proceeds to get them done.
How is the Equestrian of the Month Chosen??

thinks and implements instructions properly & promptly.

Diligent with their horse! Understands that conditions are equal-
ly, if not more, uncomfortable for their horse as it is for them.
Takes responsibility to care for the horse immediately.
Consistent with attending scheduled lessons on a weekly basis.

The benefit of working with horses can produce confidence, patience, and a sense of accomplishment.
Handlers learn how to efficiently analyze and respond to situations for not only themselves, but also for an-
other being. Therefore, riding lessons are treated as a formal subject rather than just a “hobby.” Lessons are
structured with realistic goals and supplemented with an abundance of educational information outside of
the arena. Crystal has dedicated herself to provide an “Exceptional Equine Education” to all her students &
fellow Equine enthusiast.

Which Helmet do I want?
For Fun!
Bicycle or Equestrian
ASTM/SEI helmets cover most of the back of the rider's head,
and are required to provide protection for a specific area. Without
proper coverage, the helmet does not pass certification testing. In
many cases, bicycle helmets currently on the market offer a protec-
tion area which only covers the top of the head.
ASTM/SEI riding helmet manufacturers are visited periodically by a
quality auditor who makes certain that all certified helmets meet
the minimum standards. Only bicycle helmets made to ASTM F1447
have this same requirement, and bicycle helmet manufacturers are
not required to have SEI certification by any federation or law,
ASTM/SEI helmets must be covered by liability insurance for as long
as the helmet model is in use, even after it has been replaced by a
new model. Only SEI certified bicycle helmets must carry similar cov-
erage. It is well worth the additional cost for better coverage!! For
