Barn Door Box

Stamp Set: Barn Door Paper: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Ink: Basic Black, Early Espresso Accessories: Washers, Mini Dimensionals, Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder Measurements:

• Bottom of box is 6 7/16” x 5 7/16”, scored at ¾” on all edges (Crumb Cake cardstock)

• Top of box is 6 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at ¾” on all edges (Crumb Cake cardstock) • Top panel that sits on top of box is 5” x 4” (Crumb Cake cardstock) • Window sheet is 2 ½” x 2 ½”

Instructions:

• Stamp the door using Basic Black ink on to a Wood Textures Designer Series Paper and die cut out

• Snip bottom box as shown on yellow lines, then fold on score lines and adhere to form a box

• Do the same to the top box (this piece has a square framelit and slots cut out of it) to form another box

• Adhere Window Sheet to the inside of the top box where the square framelit is cut out

• You will use 8 washers with this top panel • Place 4 Mini Dimensionals on 4 of the washers

• Place the washers in the long oval slots of the top panel

• Place a 2nd washer on top of the 4 washers that have the Dimensionals on them

• Make sure the 4 sets of washers are in the four corners as shown in this photo

• Place a glue dot on top of each washer

• Adhere wood barn door, attaching left side of barn door to 2 left washers as shown

• Slide the door to the right side, and adhere right side of barn door to the right 2 washers

• Flip the top panel over to the back side and add foam strips as shown

• Flip the top panel back over and adhere to top of box

• Adhere black hardware using Tombow glue o Adhere the long black track o Adhere the top hinges to the top of the door o Put a small bend in the door handle and

adhere to the door so handle has a small arc o This is easier to maneuver handle if you use a tweezer

• Stamp sentiment on 2” x 2” Whisper White cardstock in Basic Black ink (you may want to place the white cardstock on the box front to see where it lies, then kind of mark the middle of the square so it is centered when you stamp it

• Adhere white cardstock to front of box on left side • Stamp “hello” sign on to Wood Grain Designer Series Paper and fussy cut out • Add Linen Thread to the back using Glue Dots, then adhere to door front using
