Interesting facts !• The reflection of the sun on the lake gives extra

power on the west face; • The reflection of the sun on the neighbors roof gives

extra power on the north face (I can’t wait for the winter!);

• Sweep and clean the panels once a month (summer) and shoveling (winter) gives you extra power;

• In summer time, the increase in day to day air pollution can considerably affect the electricity production due to smog accumulation;

• Having panels all around the house gives you a more stable electricity production on a daily basis;

• Creating walking spaces between rows of PV panels gives you easier access (fixing, inspecting, cleaning), easier winter shoveling and better ventilation in summer;

• It cost actually nothing for us to commute with our electrical car.

The suneconomical facts• With my electrical car, I save annually:

➢5000$ in fuel; ➢1500$ in car maintenance (oil change, brakes, transmission, timing belt…); ➢ 400$ in car insurance; ➢Tons of pollution; ➢Pay back in 5 years; ➢ Our Nissan Leaf became our principal car.

Suprisingly, we have found many free places to charge our car: Ikea, Nissan, etc.

The suneconomical facts

The reduction in our electricity cost has reduced by 780 times the price of electricity by Fortis. The reduction in our gas cost has reduced by 415 times the price of gas by Altagas.

The suneconomical facts•With our solar system, we annually save:

➢ 4000$ in electricity bills;

➢ 1000$ in gas bills (because of electrical heating);

➢ Tons of pollution;

➢ This project will pay for itself in 10 years (8 to 12).

Conclusion• Good to be a green citizen of the world. • Whatever the solar and/or electrical car project you are

getting into, you will save tons of money & pollution, and provide a better planet for the generations to come. • Our economy is flipping into a suneconomical one, more

durable, more flexible, greenest ever, kicking out big industries and welcoming new technologies. • As an accountant, I have calculated our long term return on

investment on the electrical car (17% ROI) and our solar system (10% ROI) compared to the Toronto Stock Market (5% without risk and 7% with long term investments).
