Barack Obama

Barack Hussein Obama II (born August 4, 1961) is the 44th and current President of the United States, and the first African American to hold the office. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. He served three terms representing the 13th District in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004, running unsuccessfully for the United States House of Representatives in 2000.

Obama was born on August 5, 1961 at Kapiʻolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. His mothers name was Stanley Ann Dunham and his father was Barack Obama, Sr.. Obama had a very good education growing up but did not have a very fun time growing up you see his parents were not happy that is why they got a divorce in March 1964. Also his father died in a car crash when Obama was only 21 years old. Obama did have many downs but he did get married on October 3, 1992 to a young woman named Michelle Obama . Obama later in his life he went to Columbia university, Occidental college, and Harvard law school.

Obama majored in political science, law, and art. Obama took those degrees into good hands and became the senate of Illinois on January 4, 2005 his senate career ended in November 16, 2008. The reason he quit was because he got elected president on November 5 and he was about to take on a lot of responsibility.

In 2008 Obama ran against John McCain and won serving four years till the next election. In the time he served president for the fist four years he started up a organization called Organizing for America (OFA) this organization is a project of the democratic national committee. In the election 2012 Obama ran against Mitt Romney and won again serving four more years. In this time Obama began Obama healthcare which some people are not very happy with. He is still our president so I do not now what will happen.

Obama has a very happy and healthy family with to girls and wife Michael Obama, Michael is also a lawyer and a writer and is the first African American to be the First Lady. Obamas to children are Natasha Obama and Malia Ann Obama. Malia was born July 4, 1998 and his other daughter Natasha was born June 10, 2001.
