Obama family was poor in the past, his father was a Kenyan man, while his mother is a white woman. His father was a foreign student and then divorced 3 years later(1964). Obama’s mother then married another man, who is Indonesian, and then studied there.

BY the time he started his campaign against democratic rival Hillary Clinton. America was in chaos, with around US 10 trillion in debt. After he defeated Hillary Clinton, Lehman brothers collapsed on 13 September, and marked the biggest bankruptcy in USA history. Shortly after, A financial crisis arose and plunged the world to crisis, with companies filing for bankruptcy.

Barack Obama is born in Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu, Hawaii. At 3 years old, His parents divorced and then Obama’s mother married soetoro, and then moved to Indonesia(Jakarta) to study there in a local school until he was 10 years old.

Obama went to Indonesia(Jakarta) with his family. There, he studied in local schools, like punahu school until he was 10 yrs old.(he was in fifth grade).

Obama went to los Angeles to where he studied in the Occidental College for 2 years. He was then transferred to Columbia university in New York city. He studied political science there. He spent 4 yrs there.

He wished to study law so he entered Harvard Law School in late 1988 and he was the editor of the Harvard law review. He was the first African- American to have the job.

Obama was elected to be Illinois Senate in 1996. Then, he gained support over health law and sponsored a law-increasing credits for low-income workers, and increasing child-health care. He was in the democratic party then.

In 2000, he failed to the democratic primary run for the U.S house of representatives. He then stepped down as Illinois senate and campaigned to be the senate in 2004.

Obama join a “contest” and won 52% of the vote. On July 2004, he wrote and delivered the keynote address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston, Massachusetts. He then speeches about the U.S. government policies and wants a CHANGE as the USA economy is worsening.

Then, his republican rival Jack Ryan quit the campaign then, Alan then replace jack but Obama got 70% of the vote.

In the primaries, he won Hillary Clinton by a large margin, leading him to his republican rival John McCain. On august 23, he selected Joe Biden to be his running mate.

There were 3 presidential debate, and votes showed that Obama won all of them. With that, The republicans were in big trouble.

Obama won a 53% vote against McCain which sparked street celebrations throughout the nation, and world leaders rushed to congratulate him.
