BANYAN TREE SCHOOL, JAIPUR
Hindi Diwas was celebrated with great fanfare at BTS Jaipur with an aim to instill the importance of this
official language among the students. The programme showcased the talent of the students through skits on’
Beti Padhao Beti Bachao’, the informative talk show. ‘Save Paper Campaign’ and the session on ‘Hasya Kavita’
which generated a lot of enthusiasm.
On the whole it was a day which marked the passion of today’s youngsters towards their official language
‘Hindi’:-a symbol of identity and freedom.

The students of Pre Primary wing at Banyan Tree School, Jaipur were made aware of the road safety and traffic
rules.
A very interactive session comprising of skit enactment was used as a medium to orient the children. The
session concluded with a rhyme “TRAFFIC SIGNALS”. The students enjoyed the session thoroughly as they
learnt an important lesson on Traffic Safety in a play way method.
Origami is a creative art of paper folding and giving different
forms to the paper.
The children of the Pre Primary wing were excited to make a
paper BOAT according to the theme of the month –
TRANSPORT.
Each child made their origami boat as a prop while reciting the
rhyme “Row Row Row your boat”. It gave them a boost to
perform and prove themselves.
Art is in reality the ability to delve within and bring forth from your very soul an idea.!

Junk food go

here to stay!
The students of the Primary wing enjoyed dressing up as their favourite vegetables and elaborating on its benefits. Some of
them were surprised to learn new facts about vegetables that they were unaware of. This was a wonderful learning
experience for them and they were overjoyed to go home and share what they learnt at school. It was fun to see the young
students dressed colourfully and absorb some healthy eating habits through the interactive sessions.
Sharing is caring and isn't it amazing and fun to share the awesome food that our mothers lovingly cook for us! The
Primary wing enjoyed Fun Food Funda on Wednesday the20 Sept 2017. Students got to experience multiple cuisines
from all over the world, Chinese, Italian, North Indian and South Indian. They were taught about sharing, buffet, table
manners, eating habits and cleanliness during meals. They were very happy to share their yummy lunches with
Principal Ma'am, teachers and their friends.

The Pre-Primary wing, the primary and the middle school at BTS Jaipur
oriented students on safe and unsafe touch, following the safety protocol, to
make the young minds aware
of their bodies and how to
protect themselves. The
explanation was initiated by introducing the parts of the body,
titled “My Body Belongs To Me”. The safe circle comprising of
members of the family like mother, father, siblings, grandparents
and teacher who we trust was also discussed.
A Power Point presentation elaborated the good and bad touches
with enactment from teachers on how to react in an uncomfortable
situation. The three major pointers were “Say NO”, “Run For
Help”, and “Share With SAFE CIRCLE”.
The session was interactive engaging children in a healthy
discussion
Outdoor classroom day was celebrated on 7 Sept 2017. The students were overjoyed to participate in the
activities planned outside the classroom.
They enjoyed COLOUR DRIVE activity in which they dipped the wheels of their toy cars in different colours
and made different patterns.

The students of Primary wings celebrated the festive season with thought provoking stories from the Ramayana
on 27 Sept 2017.
The students prepared short skits and interacted with each other about Dussehra, Diwali, Navratra festival,the
tales and ideologies behind these celebrations.
Everyone enjoyed and learnt moral values like respecting elders, goodness,
humility and taking pride in our rich Indian culture. They all participated in
the activities with enthusiasm. What a wonderful way to delve into the roots
of our rich culture and heritage.
