High Security Cube Hopper This hopper has been developed from the succesfull Cube Hopper range.

A number of features have been added for fraud protection, which give a lot of benefits when people are trying to manipulate your machines.All functions are similar as the normal Cube Hopper, except the following fraud protection has been added :

Opto-Sensor fraude detection• The opto-sensor led is modulated with a random frequency between 250Hz and 1KHz. • If the opto-receiver is shorted to ground, the hopper will stop and send an error pulse. • If the opto-received is shorted to a high voltage or the opto is blocked, the hopper will stop and send an error pulse. • If the opto-sensor is blocked (coin in opto-port), starting the hopper will eject the coin and the coin exit output becomes high again.

Coin Exit fraude detection• If the coin exit is shorted to a high level, and a coin is ejected during a payout, the hopper will stop directly after detecting that the coin exit level does not go low if the coin passes to opto. An error pulse will be send as soon as the coin exit fraud disappears. In most cases the coin will not be paid, but remain in the coin exit port of the hopper. By restarting the hopper, the coin will eject and the coin exit output becomes high again. • If the coin exit is shorted to a low level, the machine will go in alarm automatically.

Error pulse transmissionIn a fraud situation, the coin exit will transmit an active low pulse of 10 sec. If the coin exit is shorted to a high level, the hopper will try to pull the coin exit low each 100ms. As soon as the coin exit goes low also, the 10 sec error pulse will be transmitted. If the hopper is restarted during the 10 sec error pulse, the error pulse is aborted, allowing coins to be paid again.

Intelligent Cube Hopper This hopper has the same mechanical functions as the MK2 series but can be set to different operating modes depending on your preferences. Operating mode 1: Continuous mode • This works similar as the standard MK2 hopper. Operating mode 2: Logic mode • The hopper will work with a logic signal high or low to start and stop the hopper. Operating mode 3: Pulse mode • The hopper will pay out 1 coin for each pulse send to the hopper. Operating mode 4: RS232 mode • The hopper works on a simple RS232 operating protocol.• Operating modes are selected by jumper settings on the main board.• Complete manual is available upon request

Driver Interface CableThe uses for this interface are two-fold. If the switching transistor in the host machine is not powerful enough to drive the CUBE HOPPER, this interface will solve that problem. It also solves the problem of coins remaining in the coin exit. This sometimes happens if the STOP-command is received too early. By checking the coin-out sensor, the interface will turn the motor until the coin, blocking the optic sensor, is ejected and cleared.

The Evolution Hopper is a great extension to the Hopper line of Suzo.This belt driven hopper has been re-engineered and the result is an improvement over existing belt driven hoppers in its performance and maintenance. The unique concept provides a single build type hopper that is suitable for 95% of world’s coins and tokens without needing adjustments.The Evolution Hopper is suitable for many applications such as: Vending, Parking, Change, Amusement and Gaming machines.Made from extremely strong, wearing resistant plastics in combination with state of the art electronics resulting in low cost of ownership.Large DC motor in combination with electronic motor control board for reduced friction and motor noise.

Optic board is easily accessible by removing the electronic control board from outside the hopper. Connector can be easily changed from front to back by just loosening two screws and pulling the cable with connector in its position. (reduced inventory for manufacturers that use both styles)

Evolution Shutter Hopper

The Evolution shutter hopper is added to the existing Suzo-Happ Evolution hopper series as our most secure model in this range of hoppers.This Evolution shutter hopper is equipped with an improved opto-sensor for coin detection and with an electronic shutter unit in front of the coin exit port of the hopper.

The improved opto-sensor has an extra infra-red emitter and infra-red receiver added.Both ir-receivers are securely located at both sides of the opto-sensor, so that they cannot be reached directly through the coin exit port, making tampering the sensor very difficult.

The function of the added shutter is 2 fold: First it prevents spilling any coins through the coin exit port, in case a hopper is moved in or out of a machine.Secondly, it prevents the insertion of any tools, that could be used to tamper the opto-sensor inside the coin exit port, that could cause any fraud.As soon as the hopper starts paying coins, the shutter opens, and closes again when a payment is finished. All other features and dimensions are the same as the normal Evolution hopper range.

Being the largest Casino Hopper manufacturer in Europe the market has high expectations from Suzo with its escalator hopper that solves most problems existing escalator hoppers have.

Nearly 5 years of development and two world wide patents (applications and granted) has resulted into this Escendo Hopper with its unique rotor system and brush track. The patented rotor system ensures one-by-one coin entry into the brush track, eliminating shingling (overlapping coins) which mostly results in a coin jam. Arriving into the track the coin is pushed towards the back plate by the patented brushes having the advantage of being totally insensitive for damaged or bend coins which often end up in a fatal error. The brushes in the track are placed in a diagonal upward position easing the coin to pass upwards but stopping the coin to go down again: result low power consumption and less wearing parts. The planetary gearbox system guarantees low power consumption and silent operation. Low maintenance and easy accessible are key words in the Escendo hopper, coin track is open on one side for visual inspection. The combination of these features has resulted in a token and service friendly hopper with extremely high performance.
