ObjectiveTo display the relational data among countries Bank Capital Assets Ratio(%) and the Countrys Population Total. Metadata for this project is retrieved from the World Bank and the objective of this project is to demonstrate knowledge of data organization, making this information easy to understand to any viewer. The project will display the relationship between per capita asset ratio and population data per year. Data displayed has been carefully selected based on complete data information and by organizing its context. All countries are displayed based on the countrys longitude and latitude information. Population and per capita asset data collection rank from 2000-2012.Data DescriptionCountry population and asset per country capita was obtained through The World Bank. Location information collection was compared, added, and, updated via Google Countries Database. Data clean up includes, elimination of countries with missing information (for the purpose of this project) and elimination of irrelevant/duplicated data, e.g., yearly data collection of the American Territories, while already having information of each country in the American Territories. Other irrelevant data (for the purpose of this project) includes no longer existing countries, etc.. Note that not further analysis was made for this project, other than a first data clean up. The data to be displayed must a.) have data population from 2000-2012 and b.) have per capita asset rate information from 2000-2012. Original population data collection ranged from 1960-2013. DiscussionTo Be ImprovedThe project was originally set to use MatLabs Maps Toolbox but, this toolbox does not exists under any Mason computer. The graphics of the plot could be improved.The Per Capita Asset Ratio could be, somehow, set to be more proportional to its population, allowing the reading of this to be more clear.Population Total should be displayed with better detail.Country name positions in the plotData analysis
