FirstconveningofSDGETonDecember3TheSDGETwillbeconvenedfromthefirsttimefrom11AM-1PMon12/3/2015attheUniversityofBaltimore.Thepurposeofthesessionwillbetoexaminepreliminary
stocktakingefforts(aBaltimore-SDGmappingspreadsheet).TheSDGETwillprovideadditionalideasintowhatelsecouldbeincludedonthespreadsheet.Theresultsofthatdiscussionwillbeaddedtothespreadsheet.3SDGWorkingSub-groupsandOutputsAfterthe12/3eventtheSDGETwillbedividedinto3workinggroupstoperformtwotasks:(1)additionalstrategyanddatastocktakingbasedontheirareasofworkandexpertiseonsustainabledevelopmentinBaltimore,and(2)setquantifiablesustainabledevelopmenttargetsforBaltimore-basedontheprinciplesoftheSDGs.Thegroupswillconvenefortwoworkingsessionstoperformthesetasksandproduceoutputreportsontheprioritiesandquantitativetargetsthattheyhaveidentified(furtherdetailsontheseoutputsTBD).Theschedulefortheworkingsessionswillbediscussedatthemeeting.TheUniversityofBaltimore,asconvenor,willlaterrecommendthese“sustainabilitygoals”beincludedinBaltimore’sComprehensiveMasterPlan.
