Welcome to our Second Annual Best of the Best
Kennebec Journal Readers’ Choice Ballot section.
We would like to welcome all area business owners, and our loyal reader base to take the time to complete the ballot, published in this Best of the Best Ballot Section, or online at centralmaine.com/bestofthebest. Ballots will also be published again in the Kennebec Journal throughout the voting period which ends on May 3, 2019
– so be sure to get yours in.
What better recognition for a business than to be nominated as the Best of the Best for their particular category? It is truly special for customers to take the time to complete a nomination – a chance to thank the multiple businesses you
come in contact with on a daily basis – truly our reader’s choices. Every vote counts – your input will determine who is featured in our Results Sec-tion, published in June.
Once the ballots are tabulated, we will determine the three top finishers in each category, to be featured in the Best of the Best Results Section. First place finishers will receive a plaque and participate in a Best of the Best Reception. Second and third place businesses will receive a certificate of recognition. All will have bragging rights…
Please take the time to review your selections, and to read the ads that some of the businesses have placed in this section, encouraging your recogni-tion of their service to you, and asking for a vote of confidence in them. The central Maine area is fortunate to have some of the finest businesses and service providers in the State. And, while the ballot could not cover all of the possible categories, we’ve certainly addressed quite a few.
In the Fall, we will roll out the same balloting process for the third annual Best of the Best Readers’ Choice for the Waterville area, with a ballot sec-tion inserted in the Morning Sentinel and included on centralmaine.com/bestofthebest. Once again, readers will be invited to vote for their favorites in each category. Then, a couple of months later, we will publish a Results section, with the selections in our Morning Sentinel towns.
We would also like to sincerely thank our Chamber partner for their assistance in getting the word out and promoting our balloting process. Special thanks go to the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce and their leadership team.
