Creating game tiles based on Tolkien’s written work is both a thrilling and humbling experience. My goal wasto covey the sinister underground atmosphere of Moria. This tile set is based on the Balin’s Tomb scene fromPeter Jackson’s excellent FOTR movie. The 1” hexagonal grid was added to preclude the necessity of using aruler for miniature combat and movement.
