A further asset, not valued, is the stock of Journals, Index Volumes and Biological Flora Reprints held for the Society by the Publishers. We have examined the Balance Sheet and Income and Expenditure Accounts of the British Ecological Society as at 31 December 1956, set forth above. We have obtained all the information and explanations we have required, and have verified the investments and Balance at Bank. In our opinion the above Balance Sheet is properly drawn up so as to exhibit a true and correct view of the state of the Society's affairs, according to tile best of our information and the explanations given us, and as shown by the books of the Society.
