The Bahamas most popular resources are salt and aragonite.

The influence that their resources have on the U.S. is that the U.S. uses salt on almost every

food and almost every time they eat.

In the Bahamas the people speak English.

Phrase: “No problem mon”

This influences the U.S. not as much as if they would speak a foreign language because if we need to make an agreement then we can understand them.

In the Bahamas they eat a lot of sea food. Such as Conch, a shell fish similar to an oyster.

The U.S. does not eat a ton of sea food so there is not much of a connection.

This is not quite like the U.S. because people are poor because of losing there job and what not.

Exports: mineral products and salt, animal products, rum, chemicals, fruit and vegetables

The U.S. imports different things because we don’t have topical fruits.

Before the 1920s, people didn't give much thought to healthcare. You could die from infectious diseases like cholera or from "natural" causes, and medical technology was so poor that most patients were treated at home. In the US we all have health care. And if we do get sick we have doctors to help you by giving you medicine.
