About LOGOSThe history of LOGOS goes back to 1907 when Sveinn Bjornsson opened the

country´s first law firm in its capital, Reykjavik. Looking back, Mr. Bjornsson is

one of the most important people of the first half of the 20th century, culmin-

ating in the responsibility handed to him by becoming the first President of

the Republic of Iceland in 1944. LOGOS is a fully integrated international law

firm focusing primarily on Northern Europe with offices in Reykjavik, London

and Copenhagen. LOGOS provides companies and institutions with services

LOGOS still growingWith a total of around 100 staff LOGOS is the largest law firm in Iceland. We

provide services to many of Iceland´s largest companies and also a variety of

foreign companies having an interest in Iceland. At LOGOS, ambitious lawyers

have the opportunity to be involved in exciting projects involving work with

both domestic and foreign companies. Even being the largest law firm in

Iceland, LOGOS is still growing and 3-4 new lawyers join the firm every year.

LOGOS LondonThe London branch was established in 2006. The London office has grown

steadily over the years and now employs lawyers that are qualified to practice

law in both the UK and in Iceland. LOGOS was the first Icelandic law firm to set

up an office in London and remains the only Icelandic law firm with operational

offices outside of Iceland. Iceland´s largest takeover bid of Actavis Group hf.,

financing of the takeover, and refinancing of Actavis Group hf. was conducted

from LOGOS London.

LOGOS CopenhagenThe Copenhagen branch was established in 2008. It is the first Danish law

office in Denmark to be part of a fully integrated international law firm group.

The team has extensive legal commercial experience in M&A, real estate,

financing, restructuring and general commercial law.
