Alexis Jordan – Good Girl

This split screen could be very effective for some parts in our music video, we could use footage from all three models and put them together on the parts of the song where all the performers sing, this would add something different to the video and show skill in the editing stages. It would be most effective in the part of the song that goes “aai aii aii” and possibly also the “hey boy” part.

In the video we also noticed that in the dance scene they are all wearing the same outfit. This is something we hadn't thought about doing but works well in this video.

We had an idea similar to this, and this shows us that it works well (having lights coming from behind the performer)

This also works well having a coloured background, however this looks more effective than a plain flat colour as this has an ombre type effect towards the outer frame, making the piece look professional.

We had also not thought about ending and beginning shot introducing the artist and the song title this is something we will discuss further and consider for our product.

Trouble Neon Jungle

This is also an effective way to change up other wise boring repetitive shots. In the video the spot light is being moved on to the artist and then away form them.

Brave heart – Neon Jungle

We think this is a very effective method of editing this turns a normal looking medium or close up shot into something that is more interesting and memorable to the audience. We would need to do this at the editing stages but we would love to try something like this to show off our skills and ensure the product looks more professional.

We really like the idea of doing a silhouette shot this would be good to add near the end of the video as a “surprise” to the viewer as not everything should be revealed straight away in the video.

We would like to try out making the whole shot one colour this will add the colour in to suit the pop genre.

Foxes – let it go for tonight

This video starts off with every thing blank, and the goes on to bursts of colour fitting the pop genre very well. We like the idea of how much fun this would be to film this would reflect well in the footage as it would be quite natural of the ‘artists’ having fun (again fitting with the pop genre).
