My Story about Going Back to School
Years 3-6 1
I have been Learning from Home with my family. I will be going back to school soon, with my teachers and friends, one day per week. Some things will be the same. Some things will be different.
2
I will wear my school uniform. I can wear either winter or summer uniform.
3
My parents/carers will drop me at the school gate in the morning. I will walk to Pool Playground by myself.
4
I will see the teachers at school.5
I will be doing my learning activities in different classrooms at school. I will be learning with different teachers and different friends from my sports house.
6
I will bring my own pencil case with pens, pencils, scissors and a glue stick. If I am in Year 5 or 6, I will bring my iPad.

I can reserve books from the Library online on Oliver. Mrs Chapman and Mrs Loftus will borrow the books for me and bring them to my classroom.
I will need to keep a safe distance from my teachers and friends in the classroom. I will be working at my own desk.
9
I will stay in ‘my bubble’ and keep a safe distance away from my friends and teachers. This is called ‘social distancing’.
10
I will keep washing my hands with soap and water throughout the day. Sometimes I might use hand sanitiser.
11
I will bring my own fruit break and recess from home. I can bring my own lunch or have a lunch order online. I will wash my hands before I eat with soap and water.
12
I will play different games with my friends in the playground that don’t require equipment. Handball games will still be allowed. The climbing frame on Ginkgo will be closed.
13
The bubblers will be closed. I will bring in my drink bottle from home. If I forget my drink bottle I can make a cup with my hands to drink from the tap.

At the end of the day, my teacher will tell me what time I can leave. ● If I usually walk home or meet my parent or carer at the car, I
will follow my usual routine. ● If I catch the bus, I will meet the teacher on duty at the Music
Room. ● If I have to wait for my parent/carer to pick up my K-2 brother
or sister, I will meet them on Pool Playground. ● If I go to LAC, I will meet a LAC staff member on Pool
Playground at 3pm.
