Programme outline
The Bachelor of Applied Business Studies programme aims to satisfy both the student's and industry needs for a credible and practical study programme that will:
> Equip students with an understanding of the principles of business disciplines and apply in practice
> Equip students with personal, group and technical skills appropriate to practice Business Studies within the workforce
> Help students recognise the relevance and importance of business knowledge within a modern society
> Enable students to develop well integrated and applied knowledge of the major aspects of Business Studies and the ability to relate these to practical issues of management
> Help students develop the tools, techniques and models applied to the solution of business problems
> Help students develop management and leadership abilities through independent research and investigation
> Help students develop an appreciation of innovative, creative and entrepreneurial approaches to business development and issues
