BABYLIGHTS / BLONDE IDOL
SOCIAL MEDIA KIT
FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM KIT
• This kit contains Facebook and Instagram images and copy that work together to
tell a story and drive awareness of the Babylights trend as well as new additions to
the Blonde Idol family.
• Included in this kit:
• Facebook Posts (Images, and copy)
• Instagram Posts (Images, and copy)
• Recommended hashtags
• Recommended best practices for posting
• Recommended best practices for tagging
POSTING PROCEDURES
• When commenting on Instagram posts with hashtags, they should be
added immediately at time of post. Instagram indexes comments at time of
post, not time of comment. Waiting to comment with these hashtags even
minutes later will result in the tags being buried and losing potential
visibility.
• No filters (or color alteration of any kind) should be used when
posting images on any platform.
• All posts should be distributed with consideration to the full page. It is
recommended to not post images of similar designs consecutively. Posts
should be spread out so the page maintains a nice flow between various
quotes, products, models, etc. (Not clustering all quotes together, for
example).
HASHTAGS: INSTAGRAM
• The primary hashtag for Babylights is #Babylights.
This should be included in the caption post body, along
with #RedkenColor.
• Additional hashtags to give greater visibility to the
posts should be added into the comments section of
each post. Comments should be added immediately
after post goes live. Examples include:
• #Redkenundone
• #Redkenuk
• The subsequent slides give recommendations on
posts that incorporate these hashtags.

INSTAGRAM TAGGING
For all Instagram posts that include
Suki’s handle (@SukiWaterhouse)
make sure to:
1. Include Suki’s Instagram handle
@SukiWaterhouse in the post.
2. Click on Tag People and include Suki.
This will tag Suki’s Instagram
@SukiWaterhouse in the image picture.
This will optimize your posts as users
often search for images that Suki
Waterhouse has been tagged in. This
is a best practice for all Instagram
posts that include social influencers.
