Tape the first 8-10 cmof the TDI cable usingTessa Tape and secureto bracket with a cable
tie

A Six way plug containingthe Power and FMS
connections is supplied byplaxtons and is located to
the rear of the Centre Dasharea
A number of C730 hasbeen issued to this plug
and written on
Pin 1-Red= PermanentPin 2-Yellow= ignitionPin 3-Red= Can HighPin 4-Black= Can Low
Pin 5-EmptyPin 6-Black= Ground
Red and Black twisted pairfor FMS Pins 3&6 is ran in
grey insulation and thewires are noticeably
thinner

Plaxtons connect tothe C730 plug
Refer to Page 8 for pinouts

AND FMS HAS BEENTESTED FOR CORRECT
POLARITY

located in the luggagestorage area behinddriver at ceiling level
Fuse locationF133=Permanent

Both of these locationsrequire a 3amp fuse

At the bottom of theCentre Console is a
storage area for a FirstAid box
The TVG is to bemounted on the rearof this storage area
using speed fasteners
From the inside of thestorage area use theTVG as a template
mark and drill 2 x 1/8holes for the TVG fixing
screws

Apply 2 x speedfasteners to the TVG
After all cables areconnected the TVG isready to mount to the
rear of storage areausing 2 x self tapping
screws into the 2 xspeed clips that areattached to the TVG

Program and Testing

Program TVG and test for correct operation – including data from FMS
Ensure the test code is documented
Neatly loom and secure all excess cable
Apply anti tamper seal to all connections
Replace all panels and screws to the vehicle
Carry out post installation checks
Leave the work area clean and tidy
