It crosses the federal motorway BAB A 100, the main-line railway and the railway of the S-Bahn and needed reconstruction due to material fatigue of the prestressed concrete superstructure. This superstructure will be replaced by a new construction with two composite steel and concrete bridges. The replacement of the complex of slopes leading to the BAB A 100 including slopes Northeast, Northwest and Southeast, the adaptation of slope Southwest as well as the construction of two more road sign bridges is still necessary, due to an altered traffic routeing in the transportation hub and the existence of damage on the structure. Overview of the range of activities: Demolition concrete: 9,000 m² Reconstruction concrete: 1,200 m² Reconstruction reinforced concrete: 1,900 tons Reconstruction constructional steelwork: 1,300 tons Reconstruction auger piles: 4,400 m Replacement road construction: 15,000 m² Writing the terms of reference was accompanied with a strict observance of dead lines and a great effort on terms of agreement.
