What is STEP?STEP (Shared Thinking EmpowermentProject) is a 9 week self-developmentprogramme.

Each week we meet for 2 hours todiscuss and learn about different issuesthat adults are faced with, such as,addictions, healthy eating and moneymanagement.

Want to volunteer withus?Volunteering is one of the most rewardingthings you can do. And thinking aboutvolunteering is a good start to finding anopportunity that's right for you.

We require a flexible pool of volunteers toact as befrienders. As a befriender, wewould be looking for you to commit 2-3hours of your time each week to buildrelationships, assist with any note-takingand encourage individuls to participate ingroup work sessions.

We encourage the individual to use theinformation that's been learned and try toapply it to their own lives.

This could be anything from,making smallchanges to ones diet to accessinga service that helps tackle addictions.

How does it work?

Where and when?

STEP runs in variouslocations throughout Dundee. Oncewe have your information, we will tryour best to assign you to a group nearyour preferred location.

We will also take your availability intoaccount, so you can attend a groupthat fits around your lifestyle.
