Rather, it is a description of what we do, because in a constantly evolving society specialization is an added value and our clients, who are aware of this, trust in our professional-ism when they hire us to work on their construction projects and challenges. For Azimut there are no large or small projects.

Siting, urban planning and land managementOur concern is to respond to a need and pur-pose determined by the original idea, study-ing the structure of the town, the land and its price, accessibility, immediate surroundings and finally, urban planning. This is fundamen-tal to ensure that the main purpose of the project is fulfilled, whether this is to provide buildings for services, dwellings, businesses or social ends.

Azimut’s range of services extends from studying the siting and surroundings of a project to their transformation through urban planning and land management works, from detailed studies to planning at a general level or integrated action programmes.

Architecture Our surroundings are constructed and altered in response to a series of requirements which stem from determining factors such as social, climate or demographic changes.

Architecture includes the client’s determin-ing factors through a careful design study to obtain results which can be used to start the construction process with confidence.

Azimut’s main contribution is the integration of architectural design into processes which have already started. This undoubtedly im-proves the final result and minimizes future errors.

Administrative managementWe understand administrative management as the organization and processing of all the documentation generated during the con-struction process, from obtaining a building or environmental permit to the control of works documents.

Controlling the administrative management of the project allows us to develop the project more efficiently, reduce costs and delivery times, foresee errors and ensure compliance with current regulations.

Construction management and planningWe are aware of the investment in and capital allocated to a project. Consequently, Azimut acts as a consultant to the client throughout the project, which begins long before physi-cal construction, acting to: receive quotes and contract suppliers, thereby ensuring the client receives the best value for money possible; plan processes; improve deadline tracking; and provide a professional, expert client representative on site at all times who can respond to any and all questions as they

arise thereby minimizing errors and improving overall quality levels.

Physical implementation. Coordination and quality control The existing regulatory framework and the continual emergence of new technical solu-tions continue to encourage further special-ization. This is essential.

However, to guarantee the success of a proj-ect there must be a specific person or unit to coordinate the different specialists involved in the process. They must facilitate the ex-change of information between specialists and with contractors to provide clear and complete instructions at all times.

We offer quality control that covers the su-pervision of those involved in the construc-tion, and of the construction itself, all the way through the building process to its completion.

Budget control Our company accepts the challenge of devel-oping viable solutions within project budget.

This involves adapting architectural plans to the available financial resources and supplier quotes, ensuring that each project supplier stays on budget, taking the necessary mea-sures should there be additional costs, and drawing up payment forecasts during each stage of the works.

In other words, it involves flexibility and main-taining continuity between the initial plan and the ongoing work.

Deadline controlThe initial plan needs to be monitored through-out the construction process. Deadline con-trol is fundamental to ensure a satisfactory final result.

Deadlines, objectives fulfilled and outstanding objectives.

Each stage of the project is monitored and this information is included in a detailed inci-dent report that allows our clients to follow the status of the project in real time.

In addition to deadline control, our job is to facilitate changes to the works in response to incidents, thereby driving the process forward.

Passive house. Environmental monitoring The sector has a clear obligation to the envi-ronment: current constructions will have a real impact in the future as they will continue to stand. Our challenge is to make sustainable development compatible with viable technical solutions and reasonable costs, and involve our clients in this challenge.

The company promotes integral environmen-tal monitoring in all possible aspects of the project: the construction process; the respon-sible choice of materials; the control of energy and natural resources throughout the useful life of the building; and finally, the recovery of materials at the end of their useful life.

Interior design The sum of its small details differentiates a successful project from one that is not.

The effect of natural light, the magic of artifi-cial light and our constant attention to propor-tions oblige us to take the utmost care when it comes to the final details of our projects, both throughout the building phase and the

subsequent interior design, using a detailed list of material specifications which covers the smallest details in the choice of furniture, light-ing and accessories to create perfect coher-ence and overall harmony.

Graphic design It is clear that how an idea is expressed is as important as the idea itself.

Graphic design complements a project in two ways. It is the medium through which we communicate our idea to the client and also the way the client communicates the project to the public.

Our team includes industrial and graphic de-signers.

LandscapingThe landscape study goes back to traditional ideas of architecture. If architects draw up their plans taking into account the effect of the surroundings, orientation and views of the landscape, the resulting building will be in complete harmony and coherent with its im-mediate environment.
