training programs, ages 5-16 with various clubs About me My name is Stevie De Rossi and I'm 26 years old, I was born in Aldershot, which is located in Hampshire in the south of England just outside London. I have a younger sister who is 24 that lives near Hull, which is also where my parents both live now, located North East of England, I am a big sports fan supporting Manchester United and England. I’ve been involved in three sports since a young age these sports being football (soccer) rugby union and field hockey. Rugby and football are the sports I'm still involved with today. I studied at Hull College for my national diploma, which allowed me to go off and continue my studying at Manchester Metropolitan University for four years to complete a degree in Coaching and Sports Development. Straight after University I started work in The United states coaching Soccer with AYSO Camps and UK International, which I’ve loved since and continue to this day. What is your favorite soccer memory? Playing- at the age of 12 my favorite playing memory for me was scoring an important goal in the semifinals from halfway line, winning the game 1-0 which aloud our team to go forward to the final in a few weeks later and win. Coaching- my favorite moment coaching was strengthening and organizing a u9 girls team over 9 weeks in Southern California which went on to win the state championships that year for their last game together as an AYSO team before they all turned to club soccer

Watching - it's hard to beat but the 1999 treble win for Manchester United especially with how the last game worked out in the champions league final to complete it.

Coach Qualifications and Experience? I am FA level one qualified and I have a degree in coaching and sports development, and I am pursuing my Level 2 coaching certification. Additionally I have completed my AYSO certifications and I will be attaining my advanced coaching instructor certification this year. I’ve been coaching football (soccer) and rugby since before University at my local clubs near my house and when at university as a volunteer and to get some experience. After university I went to Colorado to coach soccer for the summer and loved the experience and life style in 2010. In 2011 I was lucky enough to do a 9 month contract in Southern California and have been doing that since, allowing me to coach in 11 different states in America. And what about playing experience Iv been playing football (soccer) since I could walk like every other kid in England at the age of 6 I joint my first football club which I was at till the age of 10 where I swapped clubs to another local team here I developed as a player and got many tryouts and even a couple of sessions at my favorite team Manchester United soccer schools, but due to being a better rugby player I went the rugby route today I play for pickup games when back in England to help keep me fit and when state side when there's games available I'm happy to jump in. What do you like to do off the soccer field? Off the soccer field I like to play Rugby and keeping fit at the gym. I also enjoy watching TV and movies to relax. I also like technology and I like to work with Photoshop and website design and code writing.
