Fairtrade town awarded 2009Criteria based on number of shops, cafes,

restaurants, schools, community groups making a commitment to Fairtrade

Local community group and town council working together to promote fairtrade

An hour or two now and then to help with an information stall

Visit local community organisations and give a brief talk, encourage commitment

Talk to local cafes shops and restaurants about fairtrade and why they should offer fairtrade products
