A dual benefit to the chef, AXOR Citterio Select 2jet

now offers a multifunction pull-out spray for optimal

freedom of movement. Switch between power and

grace, between a strong spray for the efficient filling

of pots and a soft shower spray for thorough washing

of fruits and vegetables. Get the effortless conve-

nience of Select technology at the touch of a button.

Preselect water volume and temperature with perfect

precision. With a pivoting spout especially suited

to double sink units, the AXOR Citterio Select 2jet

kitchen mixer is available in Chrome, in Stainless Steel

Finish or in AXOR FinishPlus surfaces.

In combination with the sBox, the pull-out spray

increases the radius of operation to 76 cm, giving the

chef room to move. Purely mechanical, no power-sup-

ply needed. Fill large pots, water plants, or rinse the

double sink unit in one continuous sequence. The pull-

out spray retracts perfectly into its MagFit holder.

The sBox contains an innovative hose guidance system,

available with the AXOR Citterio Select kitchen mixer with

multifunction pull-out spray. Housed in the base cabinet,

the sBox ensures the smooth, quiet extraction and retraction

of the hose. Inside the sBox, the hose weight safely guards

and guides the hose from any obstacles and hindrances. It

cannot be caught or damaged. The 52cm box fits conve-

niently in any standard base cabinet.

“Our firm views AXOR as the perfect marriage between

efficiency, innovation and beauty,” write architects Manuel

Frausto and David Weiss of PS Modern LLC. The pair are

creators of the Camino Norte residence, a rebuilt home

befitting the prestigious neighborhood of Old Las Palmas in

Palm Springs. “In California, water scarcity is a fact of life.

With AXOR, we contribute by using sustainable products that

conserve water without neglecting efficiency. AXOR allowed

us to create a design moment that melded perfectly with the

interior and exterior environment.”

A restaurant brings new inspiration to the idea of

food as spiritual experience. Housed in a restored

chapel, The Jane unites revelatory gastronomy with

the radiance of Piet Boon Design’s interiors. The

dining area seats 80 in front of an open kitchen,

the home away from home of The Jane's creators,

multi-Michelin-starred masters Sergio Herman and

Nick Bril. Where once an altar stood, today a no

less devotional (and occasionally ecstatic) ritual

unfolds. “I can dance behind the stove like never

before,” says Nick Bril, before baptizing beautiful
