materials. Our vises are made of hardened ground steel with hardness up

to 60Hrc and the range of tombstones for horizontal machining centres

are always built in a one-solid cast iron block, which is a further guarantee

of stability during milling operation and of unlimited lifetime.

1990Alla fine degli anni ‘80 la Gerardi ha stretto i rapporti

di collaborazione con l’industria aerospaziale cinese,

che sono sfociati nella costituzione di una joint-venture

in Cina per la produzione sia di accessori standard che

parti per le attrezzature. Tale joint-venture, di cui Gerar-

di oggi ha il pieno controllo grazie agli enormi investi-

menti nelle macchine rettificatrici di nuova generazione,

opera secondo gli standard di qualità ISO 9001:2000 e

sta conseguendo in Asia e nel mondo gli stessi eccellenti

risultati ottenuti in Europa dalla casa madre.

The research and development of the grinding technologies

have never stopped. In the same period the company esta-

blished a joint-venture in China for the manufacturing of

parts and types of vises together with the Chinese aerospace

industry. Thanks to major investments the new company is

today fully controlled by Gerardi and is achieving the same

excellent leadership results in Asia as those accomplished

in Europe.

2000Dopo l’apertura della filiale statunitense Gerardi USA nel 2000 LLC a Chicago (IL), nel 2007 è stata co-stituita la Gerardi GMBH in Germania, nei pressi di Stoccarda e nel 2010 la Gerardi UK. E’ facile intuire quali siano stati gli Investimenti e lo sforzo finanzia-rio necessario per avviare e rendere operativa tale iniziative, ma la veloce evoluzione e l’adeguamento continuo a mercati molto competitivi è stata, da

sempre, la prerogativa principe della Gerardi S.p.A.

After the set up of a US subsidiary Co. near Chicago

(Huntley - IL), a new German branch has been estabili-

shed in Stuttgard / Germany in 2007 in order to better

penetrate and service the local market. Of course this

meant a huge financial effort and investment, but the fast

evolution and continuous adjustment to high competitive

markets has always been the main Gerardi S.p.A. feature.

Gerardi S.p.A. Co. was established by Ivano Gerardi Sr.

in 1971 with a background of 20 years experience in all

kinds of machine shops throughout Canada and U.S.A.

Today the company is located just 5 Km far from the

Milan International Airport Malpensa 2000.

1980Dal 1985 la gamma di prodotti accessori per mac-chine utensili si è completata affiancando alle at-trezzature portapezzi, una serie di testine angolari per macchine utensili tradizionali e per centri di lavoro ed una serie di motorizzati per torni a C.N.C. Oggi i migliori mercati per questi prodotti sono quelli in cui i settori automobilistico e aeronautico sono più sviluppati. Nel corso degli anni 80 l’azien-da sviluppò un concetto totalmente nuovo di rettifi-catrice. Alla base del nuovo progetto furono alcune soluzioni innovative nel processo di rettifica.

In the Eighties the company grows to become the largest

Italian vise manufacturer and one of the leaders in the

European Common Market and the quality of its products

gains worldwide renown. Meanwhile the company deve-

lops its own Grinding machines with a totally new concept

at the base of the project. Moreover Gerardi S.p.A. laun-

ches a wide range of Angle Heads for traditional machine

tools and machining centers and Driven Tools for C.N.C.

lathes. With worldwide marketing efforts, the company

has brought the production from few pieces to thousands

with products and technologies known and sold all over

the world.

zione di attrezzature destinate al mercato locale

Gerardi sets up a new plant for manufacturing in

LONATE POZZOLO to increase the Angle Heads produc-

tion and a new company in INDIA for the manufactu-

ring of fixtures for the Indian market.

Nell’azienda tutte le qualifiche di rilievo e le posi-zioni manageriali sono state raggiunte attraverso formazione ed esperienze interne, valorizzando le forze e le capacità individuali. Attualmente esportiamo oltre il 70% dei nostri prodotti in più di 60 paesi nel mondo e investiamo circa il 10% del fatturato totale in ricerche, studi e progetti per nuovo prodotti. perfetta costruzione su tutta la gamma di morse modulari e cubi portapezzi ad azionamento manuale.

Per quanto riguarda i sistemi pneumatici, idraulici e magnetici e teste angolari la garanzia si estende per

12 MESI mentre per portautensili motorizzati a rotazione meccanica la garanzia si estende per 24 MESI.

Per effetto di questa garanzia, la GERARDI SPA si impegna a provvedere alla riparazione o sostituzione di

quelle parti che risultassero difettose per impiego di cattivo materiale o per vizio di costruzione, purchè dette

parti vengano consegnate in ogni caso in porto franco al suo stabilimento. La garanzia non si estende a guasti

o rotture derivati da imperizia, trascuratezza o cattivo uso del prodotto da parte dell’acquirente e cessa qualora

i pagamenti non vengano effettuati dal compratore alle scadenze convenute o quando il prodotto venga

modificato o riparato dall’utilizzatore. Tutti i prodotti Gerardi sono marchiati e riconoscibili a vista.

Su prodotti di dubbia provenienza e non marchiati non sarà riconosciuta nessuna garanzia.

GERARDI SPA guarantees for a period of 5 YEARS the good quality of materials employed and the perfect

construction of the complete range of modular vises and tombstones with manual control.

As far as pneumatic, hydraulic and magnetic items and angular heads the warranty extends for 12 MONTHS

while for driven tools with mechanical running the warranty extends for 24 MONTHS.

For this warranty GERARDI SPA commits herself to repair or substitute any part which shall result defected

by workmanship or for the use of bad quality material only on condition that such parts shall be delivered

free port to our factory. This warranty does not extend to breakages arising from unskilfulness or carelessness

and negligent use of the items from the buyer side and terminate in case the payments are not made

as agreed and when the item shall be modified or repaired by the user. Each Gerardi item has been branded

and it is easy recognizable at first sight.

On items of uncertain origin and not marked no warranty will be allowed.
