AWS Entry Level Welder
This course is designed to teach the most common GMAW welding processes. Students will be
introduced to safety, measurement, MIG machine operation and maintenance, metal proper-
ties and MIG welding techniques. The course will utilize MIG welding machines and American
Welding Society (AWS) books and materials. Students will gain basic knowledge and skill needed
to earn the AWS 1G flat position certification.
