Formed in 1993 AWM has quickly grown into one of Australia’s leading furniture companies.
With 20 years experience as a commercial designer, manufacturer and joiner we produce superior results for our clients and comply with the exacting Australian standards.
We have invested extensively in manufacturing technology as we know that to maintain a competitive advantage, we must be at the forefront of technological breakthrough. From our humble beginnings in CNC machining in 1998, we have added over 10 major machining centres, adapting our 5000 square meter factory with showrooms in Sydney and Perth with logistics centers around the country.
AWM now has a total of 70 sales, management, office and factory employees. We have permanent delivery and installation teams and several semi-permanent delivery and installation contractors around the country.

BUYING AUSTRALIAN MADE PRODUCTSBUYING AUSTRALIAN MADE PRODUCTS
INVESTING IN AUSTRALIA BENEFITS AUSTRALIAAt AWM, we believe in sourcing materials locally. This is essential if we are to keep the Australian economy alive and thriving. When you purchase from AWM, you are also purchasing from our suppliers, who are located all around Australia. RE-INVESTING IN OUR COMMUNITY The taxes we pay on goods, on wages and other business related taxes are paid to the Australian Government. They in turn, re-invest into our local community in the form of infrastructure, welfare and the general running of our country.
SOURCING MATERIALS & PRODUCTS FROM LOCAL SUPPLIERSBy sourcing locally, we are injecting funds back into the Australian economy. Each supplier is then renumerating their personnel, whoin turn spend their wages in the local community for their own goods and services.
EMPLOYING 70 +, +, + PEOPLE As we are an Australian onshore manufacturer, we are able to employ 70 Australians in our factories, warehouses and offices throughout Australia. We also facilitate apprenticeship opportunities within the manufacturing sector, guaranteeing more qualified Australians into the future.
AUSTRALIAN STANDARDS Additionally, Australian designed and made products meet Australian design and environmental standards.

We partnered with Siren Design to transform Sydney’s challenging showroom into a feast of design and colour. It was a huge success. AWM now also has a Perth showroom, which follows a theme similar to that in Sydney; vibrant colours, unique design and quality workstations.
Additionally, AWM has warehouses, sales support and project management teams in Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The client requested a bench-style, open plan
workstation that could be manufactured in a
relatively short period. The client was seeking a

the working environment. This screen has an
echo-panel centre, and perforated metal facing on
both sides; the tops are white and feature black
ABS edging on the external edge; and the round
melamine storage boxes contain Perspex dividers.
