Criteria1. The award is open to any individual who works full-

time in the Australian trucking industry for a truckingcompany, supplier or commercial workshop as aworkshop manager, mechanic or provide supportwithin the maintenance field for heavy vehicles.

2. The nominee must have had a minimum of five yearsexperience in their field.

3. Nominations will come from industry peers oremployers. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

Who was Craig Roseneder?

The award is named in honour of the late CraigRoseneder, who was devoted to the development ofa safer road transport industry. His passion,excellence and his experience combined to create aunique approach to the resolution of challengeswhich confronted the industry.

Such projects included the early development of theTruckSafe accreditation scheme with the introductionof the first accredited module, maintenance, andindustry specific fatigue management programs.

Craig worked in the development of the industry'sstandards which addressed the need for improvedsafety, maximum productivity and world’s bestpractice of road freight efficiency.
