FBC AWANA Club sponsors “Ornament of Hope” Project
There are children around the world that have never heard about Jesus. Isn’t it great that we can help share
the hope of Jesus Christ with them this Christmas, and isn’t it great that YOU can help, too!
This Christmas the FBC AWANA Club is working on a
project entitled “Ornaments of Hope” which will
allow them to sponsor an AWANA Club somewhere in
the world where children need assistance to hear the
Good News of Jesus Christ. The youth served by this
AWANA project include children in Africa, China,
Europe, Latin America, Middle East & North Africa,
Pacific Rim, South Asia. For each $10.00 donation one
child is reached through AWANA. Each of our
AWANA Club members and Leaders has already
made a donation to this wonderful cause and we
invite you to make a donation also. On the third
Sunday of December, December 15, 2013 during our
10:15AM worship service there will be a special
offering for our Ornaments of Hope project. Please
consider making a donation.
Thank you for helping and God bless you. *Please check-out the Christmas tree in the Social Hall to see the ornaments made by our clubbers.

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord
will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore
confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be
healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
James 5:15-16 (NIV)
