The headquarters of Avnet Inc. is located in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

5. Quality System Informationa) Avnet Silica, Avnet Abacus, Avnet Integrated Solutions and Avnet United are distributors for electronic components and

micro systems and do not perform any kind of manufacturing or designing activities.

b) Avnet EMG operate a Quality Management System in accordance with ISO9001:2008. Avnet EMG does not deem it necessary to include all of its European locations, which are essentially sales offices.

Avnet EMG share common procedures, information systems and a unique ERP system that control almost all customer relevant processes. Therefore they share the same Quality Management System which is maintained centrally in Poing/Germany.

Assessment on a continual basis by third-party assessment body BSI.

c) Logistics and Value Added Processes are sourced out to Avnet Logistics. Orders received at the sales offices are fulfilled by shipment of goods from one or more of the following warehouses based in Poing/Germany, Newcastle-under-Lyme/UK and Tongeren/Belgium. Avnet Logistics maintains various Quality Management Systems in accordance with e.g. ISO9001, EN9120, ISO14001, EN61340-5-1&2, JESD 625, OHSAS 18001, ANSI ESD S20.20 and J-STD 033 depending on the warehouse.

d) An Attestation of Conformance (AoC) is issued by the relevant warehouse with every shipment. Please note this is a distributor’s AoC and not the manufacturer’s. An AoC statement on the DN for every shipment is sent if the CII (Customer Individual Instruction) code DO02 is active on the account.

e) Traceability is maintained back to the supplier using minimum a combination of

a. manufacturer ID, b. manufacturer part number (MPN), c. manufacturer identified date codes on MPQ level as well as d. Avnet and Manufacturer shipping/invoicing documents and data

f) The business software platform used by Avnet EMG is SAP.
