� AUSOM has taken all necessary steps to ensure that AUSOM’s graduatesare eligible for U.S. and Canadian medical licensure.

� AUSOM is a recognized Caribbean Medical School and for a MedicalUniversity to be approved, it must be chartered on the country oflocation. Avalon University School of Medicine is chartered andrecognized by the Government of Curacao.

� AUSOM is also recognized by the United States accrediting body,Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates® (ECFMG).ECFMG is an organization that promotes excellence in medical educationthroughout the world.
