STANDARD LEASE TERMS

Hourly Rate: $350.00 CDN* per flight hour, plus additional engine reserve of $75.00 CDN* per flight hour, under standard operating conditions. *Note: rates dependent on the duration of the Lease and operating environment – salt vs. fresh water, etc.

Lease Minimum: Minimum 500 hours, depending on duration of the Lease and hourly rate.

Deposit: A deposit equivalent to the first and last month’s minimum Lease payment is due upon execution of the Lease Agreement◊. Additional charges may apply depending on aircraft location, type of operation, and insurance coverage.

Registration: The Lessee is responsible for registering the Lease with Transport Canada.

Insurance: The Lessee is responsible for providing a Certificate of Insurance to the Lessor for $2,000,000 CDN Hull Insurance, with a $10,000 CDN deductible and $10,000,000 CDN liability coverage. The Lessee’s insurance company will be required to sign a statement confirming review of the Lease Agreement and Lessee’s compliance with the required insurance coverage.

Inspections & The Lessee is responsible for all inspections and/or maintenance as required by and in Maintenance: accordance with Transport Canada regulations. Aircraft will be delivered to the Lessee with

a fresh 100 Hour Inspection, and the Lessee is responsible for returning the aircraft with a fresh 100 Hour Inspection upon termination of the Lease. The Lessee’s maintenance facility is subject to Viking’s approval prior to any maintenance being conducted on the Lease aircraft.

Billing: The Lessee will, for invoicing purposes and for the duration of the Lease, provide copies of journey log entries upon the completion of every month, with payment due by the 10th day of the following month. Should flight hours not exceed the minimum monthly hours set forth in the Lease Agreement, the minimum hours listed will be used for billing purposes.

Lease Potential Lessees will be required to complete a Credit Application, along with a detailed Application: Operational Questionnaire (attached).

Open Account Agreement

Upon acceptance of the application for credit, the undersigned agrees to pay all invoices in accordance with the Lease Agreement, unless special arrangements have been made in advance to the contrary. Any account that is not paid within 60 days after date of invoice will revert to a prepaid basis until the past due balance is paid or new credit arrangements have been made. A service charge of 2% per month will be assessed on balances, which have been outstanding in excess of 30 days. The undersigned acknowledges that all relevant sections of the Mechanic’s Lien act of British Columbia shall apply to and may be enforced against his/her aircraft until charges for work, parts, equipment and storage for the aircraft are paid in full. Any legal expenses, including attorney’s fees, are payable to the undersigned in the event that proceedings have to be instituted by Viking Air Limited to enforce payment of any amounts owing.
