Testing Tips

Hydrogen Mix = 95% Nitrogen5% Hydrogen

► A/C System needs to be free of refrigerant before pressurization with tracer gas.

► Tank Valve - Off.► Pressure adjusting screw - screwed out.► Connect hi and low side couplers and open.► Tank Valve - On.► Turn pressure adjusting screw inward to reach

100-150 PSI.► The 160PSI gauge can be removed and maximum

pressure of 225PSI can be applied if leak not detected on initial check.

► Tank Valve - off, pressure adjusting screw - screwed out.

► Hydrogen is lighter than air - check for leaks above connections.

► Evaporator leak check - after 10 minutes - check at defroster vents, dash outlets and floor vents.

► Remove couplers and check valve cores and service ports.

► Remove shop fans and any wind that can disapate the hydrogen.
