AUTOMATION SYSTEM FOR INTERIOR SLIDING DOORS

MEDVA has been manufacturing automation systems for doors for over 20 years, and is

now launching a revolutionary new automation system for interior sliding doors based on

Brushless technology.

The new MAG·NET operator is the adaptation of the Brushless linear motor technology

to the area of interior pedestrian sliding-door automation. The motors normally transfer

a circular or rotary movement in linear through a series of mechanisms, with their corres-

ponding deficits in energy loss, wear and friction noises (belts, pulleys, counter-pulleys, res-

traint cables, reducers, etc.). In the case of the MAG·NET operator, the linear movement is

direct. The motor directly transfers the traction of the frame through permanent magnets

(rotor) and coils (stator), meaning that there is virtually no energy loss.

► MAG·NET’S NOTEWORTHY FEATURES

MAG·NET consists of a motor controller and interconnection electronics, both of whichare incorporated in its profile.

By adapting this type of technology to automate interior pedestrian sliding doors, we

have introduced a series of advantages and improvements both in terms of safety and con-

venience. Such features must be taken into account when dealing with a moving element

which people pass through.

EleganceIts linear approach and small size provide the room with a touch of elegance. The MAG·NET operator was created with the principle of having similar dimensions to those of a manual guide, meaning that its design is not bulky for an interior setting.

Energy efficientFor temperature-controlled rooms or rooms which must be at different temperatures, including rooms in which temperatures are not to be shared.

SilentThe operating design and technology with which it has been created free of any transmission mechanisms keep any friction noise to a minimum.

TechnologyThe operator is controlled through a driver, providing a wide range of safety features to protect users, such as speed regulation based on automatic calculation of effort, au-tomatic unlocking of the bolt (optional), open-door, closed-door and automatic-door modalities, anti-crush system in the event of an obstacle, etc.

Easy to install, durable and reliableAll you have to do is fit the guide, in the same way as a manual guide, and connect it to the power source.As it is free from mechanisms, there is virtually no wear, meaning that there is no need for regular checks or maintenance of its components.

AdaptableThe MAGNET accessories make it a door with many possibilities, including the option of hanging it from either the ceiling or the wall.As they do not have a mounting hand, two MAG·NET operators can be combined to mount a double-panel door.

ManualIn the event of power failure, as it does not cause wear to the mechanical systems, the door can be freely used manually by users, without resistance.

PrivacyA wide range of access controls can be used for areas requiring restricted access to authorised users only.

1. BUTTON : The OPEN button on the master trans-mitter generates a command to open the door, and it closes automatically at the end of the configured waiting time.

2. By pressing the AUTO button on the master transmi-tter: The door opens with an opening command, whether by means of push buttons, radars, etc., connected to the terminal board, by pressing the master transmitter, or the PUSH&GO system

3. By pressing the OPEN button on the master transmitter: The door opens and remains open. If an attempt is made to close the door manually, the system will detect that the door is not open and will open it once again.

4. By pressing the CLOSE button on the master transmitter: The door closes and remains closed. If an attempt is made to open the door manually, the system will detect that the door is not closed and will close it once again. If the LOCK op-tion is selected, the door will become mechanically blocked and will not be able to be moved manually. Red LED light flashing asynchronously (long on - short off). The door only responds to the opening command by the master transmit-ter; devices connected to the terminal board do not generate an opening command.

5. (MANUAL) By pressing the AUTO button on the master transmitter for 5 seconds: The door will remain in manual mode. This mode cancels any opening commands, including PUSH&GO.

6. (RESET): When the door is in MANUAL mode, if we press the CLOSE button on the master transmitter for 5 se-conds, the system restarts and self-adjustments are made.

ComfortIts various functions and accessories provide complete comfort in opening and closing doors. An automatic interior pedestrian door facilitates accessibility and the quality of life of those who use it on a daily basis (residences, nursing ho-mes, hospitals, etc.). Ideal for people with reduced mobility.

Push & Go Allows the door to be opened with a light push in the direction of opening.

Remote control Three operational models: Closed / Open / Automatic, chosen using a remote control.

Open button The door opens by simply pressing the open button for a few seconds.

Motion sensor When the sensor detects movement, it activates the automation system.

Proximity sensor The door opens by simply moving the hand towards it (5 cm).
