Installing AutoCAD 2021 on Windows

Step 1. Go to https://www.autodesk.com/education/home and press on SIGN IN

Downloading AutoCAD via Autodesk Education Community

Step 3. (optional) Fill in all appropiate fields and create your account, Important: Use your TU Delft (student) email address to register. Your email adress is different then your NetID.

Step 2. In the login window, enter your AutodeskEducational credentials. If you DO NOT HAVE anAUTODESK ACCOUNT click on Create Account to sign up.

Step 4. Once you have created your account, go back to https://www.autodesk.com/education/home, and click on Get Products.

Before you beginThe following instruction is supported by the TU Delft and has been tested to be working. However, we offer this manual to you as an extra service. In case you have a configuration or version of Windows other than the one described here and you have problems installing AutoCAD, we cannot guarantee that a Service Desk, Student ICT Desk (SID) or WPS (ICT) will be able to help you to install AutoCAD.

Prerequisites Before downloading make sure you have at least 7.0gB of free space.

Step 6. Once you are logged in click on get started.Step 5. If you are not signed in click on Sign In and log in with your account.

Step 7. (optional, not always) Sometimes Autodesk asksfor additional information to verify that you are a studentof TU Delft. Add a document as described. You will get anemail in your TU Delft student mailaddress when verified.

Step 8. Search for AutoCAD and then click on get products. then click on INSTALL using the settings: windows, 2021 and your prefered language.

Installing AutoCAD.Step 1. Run the .exe file once it is downloaded. Change the Installation path to where you want to install AutoCAD and press on Install.

Step 2. It will now install AutoCAD, this may take a while.

Step 3. Once the installation is done, check if everything went well and press Launch Now to start AutoCAD.

Step 4. The first time you start up AutoCAD this screen will appear, press OK.

Activating AutoCADStep 2. Press Activate.Step 1. Once you launch AutoCAD the following screen

will appear, press on I Agree.

Step 3. Your AutoCAD should now be activated and ready for use, press Finish.
