COUNSELOR MEDICAL PERSONNEL ACTIVITY FACILITATOR PREPARATION TASKS MOVING MATERIALS CARNIVAL FESTIVITIES Assigned to 2-3 campers, a counselor accompanies the campers to all activities and resides overnight with the children in an air-conditioned cabin. They assist with daily living activities and support the campers to develop positive relationships, build self-esteem, and increase independence. These volunteers reside overnight in a conference center or separate cabin during camp and support an assigned small group of campers & counselors. They are primarily in charge of collecting and distributing prescription and over-the-counter medications and assisting with any medical needs. Share your time and talents by overseeing an activity (or activities) at camp. Detailed directions and all needed materials are provided and counselors are present to provide support to the campers. Roles are available for a portion of a day, a portion of the week, or the entire stay. Join us in gearing up for camp! Tasks may include inventorying or organizing materials, laminating, shopping for supplies, preparing name tags, sorting tees, and more. Dates vary. Load camp supplies onto a moving truck, move camp supplies to needed locations on our campgrounds, and/or unload / store all materials after camp. Dates vary. Roles include setting up and facilitating an activity (with all materials organized and supplied), interacting with the campers, and cleaning up. DATES: June 19 and/or July 24, 5:00 to 9:00pm 2020 SESSIONS: MARCH 21-22, JUNE 17-20, JULY 22-25, & OCT 17-18
