• Chlorophyll has been called "nature'sgreatest healer"
• It is the first product of light and thereforecontains more healing properties than anyother element
• Chlorophyll is also the foundation of all plant life
• It is the "blood" of plants, with a molecularstructure almost identical to the hemoglobinmolecule of human blood
• Chlorophyll is anti-bacterial and can be usedinside and outside the body as a health aid
• Science has proven that chlorophyll arrestsgrowth and development of unfriendly bacteria
• This natural product creates an environmentthat suppresses bacterial growth in the bodyand counteracts ingested toxins
• It also helps to purify the liver, build theblood's oxygen carrying potential andregulate digestion
• Liquid chlorophyll gets into the tissues, refinesthem, and makes them strong
• Liquid chlorophyll washes drug depositsfrom the body
• Chlorophyll neutralizes toxins in the body, helps purify the liver, and improves bloodsugar problems
• Chlorophyll can be extracted from manyplants, but wheatgrass is superior becauseit has been found to have over 100 elements needed by humans; when grownin organic soil, it absorbs 92 of the known102 minerals from the soil
CHLOROPHYLL
• The ideal balance of alkaline foods and acidfoods is 80% alkaline and 20% acid
• This diet will neutralize the blood anddecalcify the body
• Alkaline-forming foods include sprouts, herbs, green and leafy vegetables, garlic, onions, sea vegetables, vine-ripenedvegetables, tree-ripened fruit, small grains, sesame seeds, fresh beans and corn, cayenne pepper, and some nuts
• Acid-forming foods include blueberries, cranberries, plums, prunes, buckwheat, rye,dry beans, and most nuts and seeds
• Wheatgrass juice and green drinks are idealfor achieving analkaline andacid balance
ALKALINE & ACID BALANCE
• One ounce contains 103 vitamins, minerals, and amino acids
• One ounce of wheatgrass juice represents asmuch nutritional value as approximately 2 Qw pounds of fresh green vegetables
• Wheatgrass juice is high in chlorophyll
• It is very high in vitamins A, B-complex, C, E, and K
• Wheatgrass juice is a natural source ofIaetrile (B-17)
• It contains beta-carotene, which is found inred, green, and yellow pigmented fruits and
vegetables. Beta-carotene acts as a scavengeragainst harmful molecules flowing naturallythrough the body or through toxinsinhaled from cigarette smoke, air pollution, and other damaging sources
• Wheatgrass cleanses, purifies, and feeds thebody by activating the whiteblood cells, which boost thebody's immune system
• Wheatgrass juice is alsobeneficial for people whoneed to lose weight or cleansetheir bodies
ONE SHOT OF WHEATGRASS JUICE
• When taken in juice form, wheatgrass canprotect us from carcinogens and destroy free radicals that may lead to thedegeneration of the immune system
• Wheatgrass juice has a long tradition as a blood cleanser
• It is a powerful detoxifying agent, helps toincrease enzyme levels in the body, builds red blood cells, aids digestion, and stimulates and regenerates the liver
WHEATGRASS JUICE
• Green drinks are easy to digest; they also addalkaline to the body
• These drinks are made mostly from sprouts, which are the most alive andnutritious of all the livingfoods. These building drinksmay have fresh, green, organicvegetables added to them
• Green drinks are an exceptionalsource of chlorophyll
• Three glasses of green drink maysupply much of the protein an averageadult needs each day
GREEN DRINKS
• Sprouts are living foods and contain amazingnutritional value
• They contain such high levels of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that they areconsidered to be one of the most perfectfoods known to humankind
• When oats are sprouted, the vitamin B2content increases by 1,300%, vitamin B6 by500%, and folic acid by 600%
• Sprouts contain extraordinarily high levels ofhigh quality protein
• Mung beans contain more than 25% of theircalories as protein, which is a higherproportion than in T-bone steak
• Six cups of sprouted lentilscontain about 60 gramsof protein, which is therecommended daily allowance
SPROUTS
• Wheatgrass juice is incredibly good for pets
• An animal's system can be cleansed in 4–5 days; it is a much faster process than for humans
• Give your pet Qw –1 ounce twice a day for 4–5 days
• They should take the juice 30 min before they eat
• After 4 or 5 days, chop up the wheatgrass and mix it in with their regular food
WHEATGRASS FOR ANIMALS

GROWING SUPPLIES
• Wheatgrass can be stored in sealed containersin your refrigerator for up to 7 days
• Rinse well before juicing wheatgrass
STORING WHEATGRASS
• One tray of wheatgrass yields 6–8 ounces of juice
• If you are using a twin-gear juicer (recommended for juicing wheatgrass), place a cup under the juice spout and a small bowlunder the ejection spout to catch the pulp
• Rinse the wheatgrass
• Make sure all of the blades are going in thesame direction
• Start the juicer, and feed small handfuls of thewheatgrass (tips of the blades in first or"upside-down") into the feed opening
• The juicer will grab the blades and pull themin; never put your fingers into the feed opening
• It is recommended that you run the pulpthrough the juicer to get the maximumamount of juice out of the wheatgrass
JUICING WHEATGRASS
• Wheatgrass juice should be consumed on anempty stomach, which is 1 Qw –3 hrs aftereating, depending on what you last consumed
• It should also be taken 15–30 min beforeeating to allow it to be totally absorbed intothe system
• Wait several hours between servings
• It is recommended to begin with one ouncedaily and work up to four ounces daily, especially when ill
• Most people find it easiest to take the juice inthe morning
• When drinking four ounces a day, take two ouncesin the morning and two ounces in the evening
• However, some people find it hard to sleep ifthey take the juice late in the evening
• It may be taken straight or diluted with otherhealthy juice choices – this makes it more palatable
• The best way to consume it is to swish it aroundin your mouth before swallowing; this way it willmix with the digestive enzymes in your mouth
DRINKING WHEATGRASS JUICE
HOW TO GROW WHEATGRASS
Soak seeds 6–8 hrs in a glass jar orsimilar container
• Start with a small handful and as you getmore experience, sprout the amount youthink you need
• Use purified water to soak the seeds, however tap water is acceptable
• Do not over-soak the seeds; you can drownthem and lose many nutrients
• After soaking, thoroughly rinse seeds several times
Allow seeds to sprout for 24–36 hrs oruntil a small tail appears on the seed
• Rinse seeds throughout the sprouting time, for example, before work, after work, and at bedtime
• You can never rinse too much
Plant seeds on top of soil
• Soil should be a good organic potting mix;your local garden center should have somegood brands, for example, "Supersoil" or"Lambert" potting mix
• Whatever soil is used, mix one part peatmoss with three parts soil
• Cover soil with seeds; make sure all of theseeds are touching each other, and lay themdown only one layer thick
• Sunflower and pea greens should be plantedmore densely than wheat because their rootsystems are not as deep
Keep temperature of wheatgrass 60–80°F
• If temperature is below 60°F, the seeds willgo dormant
• If temperature is above 80°F, you must getair circulation in the room
• Water once a day heavily or until the traybegins to drip
• For the first three days, water heavily butgently as not to disturb the seeds
Cover seeds during the initialgermination period; the first 3–4 days
• Keep seeds covered with an empty planting tray until grass forms and beginsto push up the covering tray
• When at home, mist seeds occasionally
• If on a work schedule, mist when home and before bedtime
• If you are not sure you will be around towater, place damp paper towels over theseeds, and then cover them with plastic tomake sure they do not dry out
• Seeds need to be kept wet but notnecessarily dark
Let grass grow in indirect sunlight until the blade splits
• In the wintertime, this should take 7–10 days;in the summertime, it should take 6–8 days
• Harvest the grass before it reaches 11 inches; watch for the second shoot to grow
• Air circulation is very important
• Open a window near growing grass
• Have a fan blowing near grass throughoutthe day
Harvest grass as needed; additionalgrass may last several days in its traybefore it needs to be harvested
• Harvest the grass as low to the soil as possible
• Harvest grass will last one week in the refrigerator
• Stored in freezer bags with airflow holes, such as "Ever Fresh" bags, grass will last upto 14 days in refrigerator
A second growth will appear and can be used for your pets. The second growth is not as nutritiousor as sweet tasting as the first
• Wheatgrass is grown from hard, organic winterwheat seed; it is also called wheat berry seed
Mold appears on grass• Mold on wheatgrass will look like little spider webs• It is external mold, so if you clean it off and juice it, it will be fine to consume• Air circulation will prevent 98% of mold problems• If mold persists, plant less densely• If mold continues to appear, change your seed; it may be old
Seeds do not sprout• The seeds could have been soaked too long• The seeds could have been lifeless (infertile)
when you bought them
Seeds do not grow well• The soil is probably not moist enough• There is a small chance that the soil is too
moist• The soil could be infertile, and you will need
to change it
Grass disappears from outside• If you grow wheatgrass outside or set a tray
of it outside, animals will come from allaround to eat it
• Store wheatgrass inside your home

• Green drinks provide immediate, high qualitynutrition to the body
• They also contain 50% juice from sprouts, baby greens, or edible weeds such asdandelion, purslane, sorrel, and arugula and50% juice from green vegetables such askale, collard, cucumber, spinach, celery, darkgreen lettuce, and cabbages
• The perfect green drink = 90% carbohydrates/simple sugars + 5% protein/amino acids + 5%fat/fatty acids
• You may add herbs such as fresh parsley, cilantro, basil, dill, anise, or mint or addpowerful and helpful flavorings such as garlicor ginger
• If ill, avoid the juices of carrots, beets, and other sweet vegetables; the averagepancreas (the organ regulating sugar) can nolonger tolerate sugar (fructose) when juicedwith these vegetables; also keep all greendrinks separate; do not mix the colors, suchas adding carrot juice to cucumber juice
Preparing• For 12 ounces of green drink, mix 6 ounces of
vegetable juice and 6 ounces of sprout juice
• For 6 ounces of vegetable juice, juice 1 largecucumber and 2 stalks of celery
• To get 6 ounces of sprout juice, juice Qw tray
of sunflower greens and Qe tray of pea green sprouts
• Rinse the sprouts before juicing them, but itis not necessary to remove all the black hulls
• Juice the vegetables first, then the sunflowergreens and finally the lettuce
• Add a piece of ginger or several cloves ofgarlic for a flavorful health benefiting elixir
• Consume the green drink within 15 min of preparation
• These drinks may be refrigerated for up to24 hrs when they are sealed, yet the value ofthe oxygen, enzymes, phytochemicals, hormones, and nutrients they contain willdiminish dramatically
Drinking• Green drinks should be a major part of your
diet, especially if you are ill
• It is recommended that you take two 12 ounce glasses of green drink per day
• Remember to take the drinks on an emptystomach and do not eat immediately afterward
• For the average person's schedule,it is recommended that green drinks beconsumed as a breakfast juice, as a mid-morning snack, and again as anafternoon snack
GREEN DRINKS
• To produce sweet sprouts, soak the seeds in warm water (105–115°)
• Either replace the water frequently to maintainthe warm temperature around the seeds orplace the soaking seeds in a very hot location
• To develop long, straight, and juicy sprouts, put the growing tray in a warmplace and place a weight over them
• For example, grow them in a colander and put a heavy plate that fits into the colander directly on the sprouts
• The pressure will strengthen the sprouts and straighten them out as they grow
• This does not spoil the sprouts, although you may think it would
• Small seeds such as clover increase in weight and volume after sprouting, so donot overfill the jar to begin with
• To increase the chlorophyll content, placethe sprouts in abundant indirect sunlightfor 12–24 hrs to green them

BUYING SPROUTS
• Implants and enemas that contain freshly-squeezed wheatgrass juice effectively help tocleanse the colon and stimulate internal organs
• Wheatgrass juice applied internally may helpalleviate even severe cases of constipation
IMPLANTS & ENEMAS
• Sprouts should be stored in the refrigerator in airtight enclosures such as sealed plasticbags or plastic containers
• Do not let the sprouts be exposed to air while in storage; the air will dry them out
• However, do not store them wet; always letyour sprouts dry as much as possible beforestoring them (use a salad spinner)
• If they are stored wet, they will spoil more quickly
• If stored correctly, sprouts should remain crisp and delicious for 7–10 days
