To the discerning traveller,

In 2004 Cruiseco chartered Pacific Princess to sail in October 2005 around Australia for 35 nights. This was the first circumnavigation of Australia for a generation and sold out in less than a week.

For at least five years we have been exploring the possibility of operating a cruise with a duration between five and six weeks on a circumnavigation. The deeper we explored this possibility the less it seemed people wished to visit the capital cities at all.

A year ago we started very positive talks with Ponant and both companies have been feeding off each other’s excitement as we built a formidable itinerary.

Finally we are ready to share this with you and to start taking bookings for this cruise.

The cruise will operate for 40 nights departing Sydney on 25th January 2018.

Highlights will include:• Wineglass Bay (Freycinet), Beauty Point (Tamar River) and King Island in Tasmania• Port Campbell (12 Apostles) in Victoria• Kangaroo Island and Port Lincoln in South Australia• Esperance, Albany, Busselton, Fremantle, Geraldton, Turquoise Bay (Ningaloo Reef), overnight in Broome, Talbot Bay

(Horizontal Falls) and Wyndham in Western Australia• Darwin and Yirrkala Aboriginal Settlement in Northern Territory• Thursday Island, Cape York (the Tip), Lizard Island, Cooktown, Port Douglas, Hamilton Island and Fraser Island in

Queensland

Most of these ports are only available to smaller ships and some can only be accessed by ships carrying zodiacs. For those ports that do not have berths alongside, the smaller vessel will allow quick and regular tendering to maximise time ashore.

We are delighted to be offering this unique opportunity aboard L’Austral. Ponant offer a genuine luxury product, where the onboard facility is extremely inclusive with full beverage package, port charges and gratuities included in the fare along with many of the shore landings when done by zodiac. Of course where shore transportation is needed then there will be an extensive range of optional shore excursions available at a competitive cost.

The itinerary is also designed for us to offer a range of overnight excursions away from the ship where passengers re-join L’Austral in the next port of call or in a single day depart L’Austral in Cooktown and re-join her in Port Douglas having visited Cape Tribulation and Daintree.

L’Austral will carry a specialist expedition crew that will assist with information about the history of the ports visited as well as the flora, fauna and landscape of the country. Offering only 123 cabins across nine different categories, many are sure to disappear quickly. We urge you act promptly.

We are very excited to bring this wonderful cruise holiday to you and are sure you will enjoy this amazing itinerary, provided in such elegant luxury.

With best wishesThe Cruiseco Management Company
