The Board of Education has a primary responsibility to plan for school facilities that address changing enrollment patterns and support high quality educational programs.
An effective school system provides healthy, safe, and appropriate educational environments in support of teaching and learning.
Changes in community demographics and enrollment trends necessitate the need to periodically review the utilization of district facilities to ensure the most efficient use of district educational facilities and resources.
The Board of Education is establishing a community taskforce for the purpose of reviewing the district’s educational facilities, their utilization, enrollment trends and developing for consideration by the Board of Education recommendations for any changes or modifications necessary to ensure the district’s ongoing operating efficiency.
